MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to provide for the promotion and advancement of Chemical Dependency Counseling through the adoption of standards of competence which will insure the highest quality of counseling treatment to help persons who have problems related to the use of alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviors.
OBJECTIVES:
- To promote, encourage, and conduct comprehensive training and educational programs that will increase the competence, capabilities, and knowledge of Certified Chemical Dependency Counselors.
- To offer professional consultation and education, cooperation, and collaboration with members of the medical, educational, legal, social, welfare, government agencies, community, and private organizations concerned with the prevention, management, and treatment of individuals who have problems related to the use of chemical dependency and addictive behavior.
- To stimulate a higher order of professional standards and ethics among those persons engaged Certified Chemical Dependency Counselors the State of California.
